What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Unplugging and getting back to nature. Whether it’s on the bike trail, in a chair on the bay, or even in my backyard, just listening to the wind blowing through the trees and seeing birds and squirrels takes me to a restful place that allows me to thrive.
What do you most dislike?
When things get out of my control. Sure, you can say it, I’m a control freak.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Professional figure skater, but that ain’t happening any time soon

What is the best thing about BlogHer events?
There’s always a place for you. Whether you are the popular cheerleader type, the prepster, the sporty girl, the introvert, or the dark and bitter goth chick, your people are there, and you’re welcome to be there. I’ll leave it to you to guess which one I am.
What do you most fear about attending BlogHer ’09?
I have to leave before the closing party, as my daughter is going to sleepaway camp the next day. Can’t be the crappiest mom in America by not seeing my kid off to camp for the first time the next day, right? I’m fearful I might miss a lot of fun, and frankly, a lot of stuff that I can blog about for the next few months.
How would you like to die?
I wouldn’t.
